Quality education is built on more than ambition. It is sustained by rigorous standards, continuous improvement, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
This achievement reflects that commitment, reaffirming the University’s position as one of Nigeria’s leading centres of learning, research, and professional development, while providing further assurance to current and prospective students, parents, employers, and other stakeholders of the quality and global relevance of its academic offerings.
The programmes granted full accreditation are:
- Accounting

The accreditation is valid for five (5) years, with all accredited programmes maintaining their status until 2030.
Accreditation remains a vital benchmark for measuring the quality of academic programmes, evaluating curriculum relevance, teaching capacity, learning resources, governance, and institutional effectiveness. Receiving full accreditation across all programmes presented reflects the dedication of the University’s academic and administrative staff, whose collective efforts continue to sustain UNILAG’s culture of excellence.
Beyond the successful outcome of the exercise, the result represents another significant milestone in the University’s ongoing pursuit of academic distinction. It reinforces UNILAG’s commitment to providing an educational environment where knowledge is continually refined, innovation is encouraged, and graduates are equipped with the competence and character to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world.
As the University continues to shape future-ready graduates and expand the frontiers of teaching, research, and community impact, this achievement reinforces a defining truth about UNILAG: excellence is not an aspiration. It is a culture that continues to inspire discovery, innovation, and impact.
