University of Lagos, (UNILAG) Warns The Public Regarding Impersonators Of The Vice Chancellor.

There are several fake social media accounts impersonating the Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS

We enjoin members of University of Lagos (UNILAG) community and the public to beware of these fake accounts and to note that the Vice-Chancellor is not in the habit of sending personal messages on social networking platforms.

How can you help us tackle these fraudsters?

1. Report these accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp (several numbers have been found to be used) as impersonators and scam artists.
2. ⁠Block the accounts.
3. ⁠Spread the information to all your contacts.

By doing these you will be saving unsuspecting alumni, parents, friends of UNILAG, partners and other individuals from getting defrauded by scammers.
