The development was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, who disclosed that every programme presented for assessment received full accreditation status. He described the achievement as proof of the institution’s steady growth and rising reputation among Nigerian universities.
According to the statement, the approval was communicated through a letter signed by the NUC Director of Accreditation, Abraham Chundusu, after the commission completed its evaluation across several academic disciplines in the institution.
The accredited programmes span multiple fields, including Administration and Management, Allied Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Computing, Education, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Adesoji stated that the successful outcome reflected the university’s commitment to quality education, modern learning facilities, experienced academic staff, strong research capacity, and a stable academic environment.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Odunayo Adebooye, also described the achievement as a major milestone in the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence and global relevance. He noted that the university’s 100 percent success rate was the result of years of strategic planning, quality assurance, and sustained investment in education.
Adebooye further credited the accomplishment to the dedication of staff, students, alumni, the governing council, and other stakeholders, while also appreciating the support provided by the Osun State Government.
