University of Uyo ,UNIUYO reiterates ban on final exam activities

This is to remind the student community that the University Management in a circular Ref: UU/REG/121/Vol.V/07 dated September 08, 2023 had banned all activities usually performed by final year students after their final examinations, in the name of signing out activities.
The activities include: drumming, throwing of sachet water on fellow students, bullying and other uncivilized activities around the University environment that are inimical to the peaceful existence of the University.
This serves as a reminder to all concerned as Management will not hesitate to take severe actions against any student perpetrating such acts in any department, faculty, school or anywhere within the precinct of the University.
All final year students should note and comply accordingly to avoid unpleasant consequences.
