She said that the girl won 19 full scholarships abroad and had to choose one of them.

The second and third prize winners, Adebowale and Nwaozuzu, attributed their good results to hard work and thank their teachers, parents, and God for making them outstanding.

Hajia Binta Abdulkadir, chairman of the WAEC Nigeria National Committee, said in her speech that the 2020 winners are all women. She said this shows that “what men can do, women can do better.” She said the committee is exploring information and Computer technology has the opportunity to improve its services and make it impossible for unscrupulous people to forge their certificates.

Abdukadir said that despite the disruption caused by COVID-19 and the unsafe conditions in the country, the committee was able to conduct the exams, adding that the committee is doing everything possible to curb exam fraud.
