WAEC Result 2025: WASSCE Results Released! [UPDATED]

2025 WAEC Result: The 2025 WASSCE Result for School Candidates who wrote in May /  June 2025.

The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform Candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025.

To access the results, follow the detailed procedure below.

How to Check WAEC Results Online.

  1. Go to WAEC result checking portal at www.waecdirect.org.
  2. Enter your WASSCE Examination Number in the required column.
  3. Select your Examination Year i.e. 2025.
  4. Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
  5. Enter the Card Serial Number.
  6. Enter the Card PIN.
  7. Finally, click “Submit” button to get your Result.

How to check your 2025 WASSCE results with SMS

  1. Use the short code format below: WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear and send to the short code 32327.
  2. For example – WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2013
  3. Note: There should be no space in the message.2. Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30).

PS: You might not see your result because the WAEC server might be busy. Nothing to worry. Just check it back after 24-48hours.

Do you have a problem in checking your WASSCE Result?

If you see “RESULT NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CANDIDATE IN THE SPECIFIED YEAR AND EXAMS DIET”, don’t panic. Just check it back after a 24-48hours (after 1-2 days).

Be mindful of how you keep checking your result, you only have five usages, ie. You can use a WAEC scratch card pin only 5 times.

What is an e-PIN?
The e-PIN stands for Electronic Personal Identification Number. In WAECDIRECT, it is a unique 10-digit or 12-digit number that is required to access the service. The service enables direct access to a candidate’s results via multiple channels. The e-PIN is found in a valid WAEC Voucher.
Where can I buy an e-PIN?
An Electronic PIN may be purchased at the National office of WAEC and at any of its Zonal and Branch Offices across Nigeria. From time to time it may become available at any other outlets so designated by WAEC. The reviewed price for the e-PIN is now N1,500.
How many times can I check my results?
You may check your result up to a maximum of 5 (five) times with the use of 1 (one) e-PIN. In order to check further after exhausting the allowed 5 (five) times, you will need to purchase another e-PIN which will entitle you to another 5 (five) result checks.
Can I use one e-PIN to check more than one result?
No! You may only use one e-PIN Voucher to check one result. To check another result of interest, you will require a new e-PIN Voucher. If you misuse a e-PIN Voucher by attempting to check another result different from the first one checked, you will be penalised as having used the e-PIN, and will be presented with the appropriate error message.

Ans: A result checker e-PIN Voucher purchased in a previous year is still valid for use in the next year but note you can only use one e-PIN Voucher to check one result. To check another (different) result, you will require a new e-PIN Voucher

Please be informed that examination numbers are reused every year and the only unique difference is the examination year. Please change the exam year to the year you took your exam. However, you will have to purchase a new WAEC result checker e-PIN Voucher to do this. Thank you.
