Pen Resource University Appoints New Acting Vice-Chancellor


Prof. Yahaya Amuda Yusuph of the Department of Mathematics, Federal University of Technology, Minna has been appointed as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Pen Resource University, Gombe State.
A copy of the appointment letter signed by the Pen Resource University’s Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Dr. Sani Jauro and made available to Campus News reads in part, “Your appointment is in recognition of your track record of selfless service, commitment, hard work and dedication to duty; and, your contribution to the development of education in general.
We strongly believe that you will bring these sterling qualities to bear in the discharge of your new responsibility.
Prof. Yahaya who has authored and co-authored over 70 peer reviewed publications, was Director, Academic Planning in FUT, Minna from 2015 to 2020.
The appointment is for a period of one year.
