Peter Bawuah, a Ghanaian student who received a scholarship to study in Canada, is making impressive progress in his academic endeavors. Recently, he was recognized with a prestigious award as a student ambassador by Brilliant Minds Group Company in Ontario, Canada.
This recognition is a result of his exceptional dedication to representing the interests and well-being of African students in the country.
Expressing his gratitude during the award ceremony, Peter expressed his appreciation to CEO-Dinesh for believing in his passion, dreams, and knowledge, and for providing him with the opportunity to inspire and empower African youth to achieve remarkable success.
He emphasized that dreams can indeed come true and that regardless of one’s disadvantaged background, divine intervention can lead to great accomplishments.
“Thank you, CEO-Dinesh for believing in my passion, dreams, and knowledge to transform, shape and empower the youth of Africans to achieve uncharted excellence. Dreams always come true. The Lord can take you far no matter poor your background is. God is the lifter of men,” Peter said upon receiving the award.
Peter, originally from Techimantia in the Ahafo Region, has faced and overcome numerous challenges on his path to success, demonstrating his unwavering determination and resilience.
Before being awarded the scholarship, Peter, who graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), encountered difficult situations such as sleeping outdoors, selling coconuts, and working hard to meet his basic needs.
This acknowledgment not only recognizes Peter’s personal accomplishments but also underscores the significant impact that educational opportunities have in transforming lives.
During an interview with YEN.com.gh, Peter Bawuah provided insights into how he was chosen for the award and delved into its importance. He described it as a recognition for his role as a student ambassador at Brilliant Minds Group. Peter mentioned that he was discovered on LinkedIn and specifically selected to represent African students within the organization.
In his words:
“Ok basically, it is an award for student ambassador at Brilliant minds group, an organization in Canada that help and promote the welfare of international students. So through LinkedIn they saw me and select me to represent Africa students in the organization,” he said.
