ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ADSU POSTGRADUATE FORM
1. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA
- Possession of a first degree not less than third class from a recognized University or
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a related field from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
2. ACADEMIC MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMME (M.Sc.)
- Possession of First Degree of Adamawa State University or any recognized University in a relevant area with Second Class Lower Division (2:2) and above.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) at Upper Credit with Postgraduate Diploma at upper credit level and above.
- Third Class Degree with Postgraduate Diploma at Upper Credit level and above.
3. PROFESSIONAL MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMME
- Possession of First Degree of Adamawa State University or any recognized University in a relevant area with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2:2).
- Holders of HND at Upper Credit level with Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIB, ANAN, ICAN etc, can be considered in Departments of Accounting and Business Administration.
- An applicant with a Third Class Degree or HND holder with University Postgraduate Diploma at Upper Credit Level.
4. M.Phil. PROGRAMMES
- All M.Phil. Programmes are determined by curriculum developed by departments and approved by the Senate. Candidates are hereby advised to consult with their various departments.
- Department of Accounting and Finance considers holders of MBA (Accounting), Masters in Tax and Revenue Administration (MTRA) and Masters in Treasury Management.
5. PhD & DBA PROGRAMMES
- Possession of M.Sc. in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
- Candidates who enrolled and passed M.Phil. programme.
- Possession of a first degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2:2) with at least 50% in the aggregate in the B.Sc. degree, comprising Mathematics and English Language and three others in related fields.
Note: All programmes require possession of a minimum of 5 0’Level Credits.
How to Apply for ADSU Postgraduate Admission Form
Interested applicants should log into [https://pg.admissions.adsu.edu.ng/] to pay the appropriate fee in respect of the intended programme as follows:
- PGD & M.Sc. N 11,000.00
- M.Sc – ₦31,000
- MBA/MITRA – ₦25,000
- M.Ed – ₦26,000
- Ph.D. N 31,000.00
Print and submit the completed form to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Adamawa State University, Mubi on or before 20th March, 2026.
Note:
- Admission cannot be processed without the submission of a copy of the candidate’s completed form.
- All applicants must submit to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Adamawa State University, Mubi a proposed research work synopsis of not more than three hundred (300) words as a requirement for admission.
- Candidates must arrange for their academic transcript to be forwarded to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Adamawa State University, Mubi.
CLOSING DATE: The Closing Date is 20th March, 2026.
