The University of Abuja is participating at the Worldview Education Fairs in Nairobi, Kenya, in a bid to recruit international students, foster global partnerships and expand its global reach.

The delegation to Kenya, which was led by the deputy vice-chancellor (Academic) and director of the International Centre of the university, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, included the director, Advancement Office, Dr Yusuf Lawal; deputy registrar, Academic Affairs, Mal Alkassim Umar; and Mr Ibrahim Kwaji of the University International Centre.
Maikudi said, “We are thrilled to be at the forefront of this historic initiative to recruit international students and promote Nigeria as a leading study destination. By participating in the Worldview Education Fairs and spearheading the Study in Nigeria initiative, we are opening doors to new opportunities for global collaboration and academic excellence.”
In addition to its participation in the Worldview Education Fairs, the University of Abuja has further spearheaded the “Study in Nigeria” initiative, which was conceived by the founder of Findadmission.com and CEO of Worldview International Group, Mr. Folabi Obembe.
As part of this initiative, Obembe has pledged a generous sum of N1 million scholarship fund to support the recruitment of international students to the University of Abuja, while a crowdfunding scholarship fund that would see the University of Abuja alumni and international education community contribute to the scholarship fund would also be launched soon.
