Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant academic positions in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Lagos State University College of Medicine, Ikeja, Lagos.

THE VACANT ACADEMIC POSITIONS ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Lecturer II CONUASS 03
• Lecturer I CONUASS 04
• Senior Lecturer             CONUASS 05
• Associate Professor CONUASS 06

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

• Candidates for the position of Associate Professor must possess M.Sc. Nursing with Ph.D. in relevant Discipline (Maternal and Child Health, Community Health, Mental Health);
• Candidate must have been Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication; 
• Candidate must have a minimum of twenty (20) academic publications in recognised journals of local and international repute; and
• Candidates must have eight (8) years post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant Institution.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF SENIOR LECTURER

• Candidate for the position of Senior Lecturer must possess M.Sc. Nursing with Ph.D. in relevant Discipline (Maternal and Child Health, Community Health, Mental Health);
• Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in recognised journals of local and international repute;
• Candidate must have been Lecturer I for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication; and
• Candidates must have six (6) years post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant Institution.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF LECTURER I

• Candidate for the position of Lecturer I must possess M.Sc. Nursing with Ph.D. in Nursing or relevant Discipline (Maternal and Child Health, Community Health, Mental Health);
• Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) publications in recognised journals of local and international repute;
• Candidate must have been Lecturer II for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication; and
• Candidate must have three (3) years post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant Institution.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF LECTURER II

• Candidate for the position of Lecturer II must possess M. Sc. in Nursing with Ph.D. in Nursing or relevant Discipline (Maternal and Child Health, Community Health, Mental Health); and
• Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) publications in recognised journals.
