The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointments of new deputy deans of faculties of the University.


Those appointed included Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Jaji as the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Adaka Terfa, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Education, Dr. Chika Chinazom Obeagu, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Environmental Design and Dr. Joseph Dlama Zira, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
A statement issued by the Registrar of the University, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, said that Dr Tijani Ajayi is the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Ibrahim Khalil Adam is to serve as the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science while Dr Aishat Ogiri is appointed as the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences
The statement said that the appointments of the new deputy deans would subsist for one year except for Prof. Ibrahim Khalil Adam, who would serve for two years.
The statement further stated that the appointments take effect from October 15, 2024.
