A Nigerian woman expressed immense joy after a young girl, whom she had sponsored for the 2023 WAEC exams, reached out to share her impressive results. The woman first met the girl at ShopRite in Akure and, moved by her situation, decided to pay the exam fees.
In a post shared on her X page (formerly Twitter), the woman uploaded a screenshot of the girl’s message alongside her results, showing she had passed all her subjects.
Reflecting on the experience, the woman wrote: “Last year, I randomly paid the exam fees for a girl I saw in ShopRite, Akure. She just messaged me, and I’m about to cry. She got all credits despite the challenges! I’m so proud and overwhelmed. I had even forgotten about it, but the universe reminded me why I do this and why I must continue. To the young girls in Akure – your dreams are valid!”
Her emotional post drew widespread praise, with many users celebrating her kindness and the girl’s achievement.
