FULafia V-C Appoints Dean, Dep Dean Of Student Affairs, Dep Director, Entrepreneurial Studies

Federal University lafia, Vice Chancellor has Approved new appointments.

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Prof. Abdulrazak Baba Abdulrahman as the Dean, Student Affairs Division.

It would be recalled that Abdulrahman was, recently, appointed as the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social Sciences.

His latest appointment as the Dean of the Student Affairs Division is for a period of two years.

Similarly, Dr Hamza Mohammed has been appointed by the vice-chancellor to serve as the Deputy Dean of the Student Affairs Division.

Mohammed’s appointment is for a period of one year.

Meanwhile, the vice-Chancellor has, also, approved the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Sophia Adofu as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies.

Mrs Adofu’s appointment would last for a period of one year.

The appointments were made known through a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu.

The appointees, the statement said, were expected to provide effective and efficient academic and administrative leadership in their respective department, adding that they would be responsible to the vice-chancellor in the discharge of their duties.
