Daniel Adegboye, a Nigerian scholar, graduated as the best student in Business Administration at UNILAG with a 4.91 CGPA, earning multiple awards, excelling professionally through internships and international studies, and founding a consulting practice to support startups.


A brilliant Nigerian, Daniel Adegboye, has graduated as the best student in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), earning an exceptional 4.91/5.00 CGPA.
Sharing his journey on LinkedIn, Daniel reflected on the challenges he faced when he joined UNILAG in 2018, feeling overwhelmed by the realities of studying at a federal university. However, with determination and faith, he excelled academically, securing prestigious awards and honors.
In addition to being the department’s best graduate, Daniel was recognized as the third-best graduating student in the Faculty of Management Sciences. He also qualified as a Chartered Accountant by passing all ICAN exams in a single sitting, receiving an award for his exceptional performance.
Beyond academics, Daniel gained professional experience interning at KPMG Nigeria in 2022 and TotalEnergies during his third year. He also studied abroad for a semester at Istanbul Kültür University through a fully funded Erasmus Scholarship, marking his first international experience.
Demonstrating entrepreneurial drive, Daniel founded Naviscale, a consulting practice helping startups and small businesses overcome challenges and grow.
Reflecting on his journey, Daniel expressed gratitude to his family, friends, lecturers, and mentors for their unwavering support and inspiration. He thanked his course adviser, project supervisor, and the Department of Business Administration for shaping his academic path, as well as UNILAG for the opportunities and lessons it provided.
Describing his time at UNILAG as both a blessing and a lesson, Daniel celebrated the remarkable achievements that marked the culmination of his undergraduate journey.
