The national body of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has awarded scholarship to two students of the prestigious Federal University of Lafia (FULafia).


This is just as four other students received scholarship award from ASUU, FULafia Branch.
Presenting the award letters to the merited students, Dr. Sunday Orinya, the ASUU Chairman of FULafia Branch, urged the students to work harder to excel in their academics.
“ASUU is proud of you and we believe you will make us proud,” said Orinya.
The event took place at the Faculty Board Room of the Political Science Department, Federal University of Lafia.
The ASUU national body awardees received the sum of N200,000, each, and N75,000, each went to the locally awarded students.
The students for the National award for 200,000 are: Iba Salome Odu of Political Science department and Sani Sufyan Zakariyya, Computer science department.
Those who collected N75,000 included: Shukoah Olatanwa Hafiz, Mass Communication, Olorunyomi Rejoice Oluwadamilola, Mass Communication, Moses Blessing Obiye, Sociology department and Ibrahim Zainab Abari of Zoology department.
