BOSU Officially Renamed Kashim Ibrahim University

Borno State University Officially Renamed Kashim Ibrahim University.

I am directed to write and inform all members of Staff that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Borno State and Visitor of the University, has signed the Bill renaming Borno State University to Kashim Ibrahim University with effect from 4th August 2025.

Consequently, all correspondence, circulars, and official documents within and outside the University should henceforth bear the new name, Kashim Ibrahim University.

All Principal Officers, Provosts, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and Units are requested to take note of this change and ensure compliance, please.
