FUEZ Warns Against Fraudulent Individual Impersonating VC on Social Media.

This is to draw the attention of members of the University community and the general public that some unscrupulous individuals are creating social media accounts, particularly on Facebook and WhatsApp claiming to be the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure. This act has been ongoing since the announcement of his appointment this September.
The imposters are contacting innocent individuals with the accounts, and directing them to WhatsApp (09015369983, 09068288200, and likes) using the name of “Prof. Isa Bunkure” and pictures, with claims of having some “arrangements”.
The University community and members of the public are to note that neither do the accounts belong to the Vice-Chancellor, nor does he have any association with them, as such, everyone is urged to be weary of these miscreants, disregard all messages from them, and help report the accounts.
If you receive any suspicious messages or have concerns, please verify through official university channels before taking any action. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from potential scams.
