The National Universities Commission has officially presented a Certificate of Recognition to the Imo State Government for the establishment of University of Innovation, Science and Technology located in Omuma.
Leading the delegation to the NUC Headquarters was the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodinma, CON, GSSRS. The team was warmly received by the NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCVSN.
This recognition marks the establishment of Nigeria’s 70th State University and 301st university in the country overall, further expanding access to quality, tech-driven tertiary education.
Focused on digital entrepreneurship, science & innovation, this university is set to shape the future of Nigerian youth and power national development.
