FUGASHUA Issues Warning Against Fraudulent Individual Impersonating Vice Chancellor On Facebook.


The attention of the Management of Federal University Gashua (FUGA) has been drawn to the existence of a fake Facebook account purportedly belonging to the Vice-Chancellor, of Federal University Gashua, Professor Yaqub Ahmed Geidam.
The University wishes to categorically state that the said Facebook account is fraudulent and not authorized by Professor Yaqub Ahmed Geidam or the Management of Federal University Gashua. Members of the University community and the general public are hereby advised to disregard any information, requests, messages, or financial solicitations originating from the fake account.
The Vice-Chancellor does not conduct official business, make appointments, or request financial assistance through unofficial social media platforms. The matter has been reported to the appropriate authorities for necessary action. For authentic information and official communications, please rely only on the University’s verified communication channels and official website.
The University will not be held responsible for any dealings made with the fraudulent account.
