FUTA Centre For Renewable Energy Technology Postgraduate Admission Form 2026/2027 is Out The form cost N20,000.

This is to inform the general public that THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, AKURE CENTRE FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY (CRET) has announced the following for the 2026/2027 SESSION:

FUTA CRET ELIGIBILITY

For MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES, eligible candidates must possess a minimum of second class lower division in B.Sc or B.Tech and 5 O-Level credits obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in relevant science subjects.

For PH.D PROGRAMMES, eligible candidates must possess a minimum of 60% (or 3.5 CGPA) in Master’s degree from recognized institutions; less than 60% (or less than 3.5 CGPA) is accepted for M.Phil/Ph.D conversion to proceed to Ph.D programme after meeting the conversion requirement in the first session.

Master’s Degree (M.Tech)

• M.Tech in Green Hydrogen Energy Technology (GHET)
• M.Tech in Renewable Energy Technology (RET)
• M.Phil in Renewable Energy Technology (RET)

The programme will run for two (2) academic sessions of four (4) semesters – 18 months

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
in the following options;

• Hydropower Systems
• Solar Energy Systems
• Wind Energy Systems
• Hybrid Systems
• Biomass and Waste Energy Systems
• Strategic Energy Management

The programme will run for thirty-six (36) months on full-time and forty-eight (48) months on part-time basis
