There was a candlelight procession for Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. by parents of Dowen College students. This procession has sparked reactions across social media.

Following the passing of the 12-year-old student of Dowen College who was allegedly bullied by other students, concerned parents gathered in numbers to have a candlelight service for the late aspiring pilot.
The act has however met criticism as some social media users think the parents are not actually concerned about the death of the young lady but rather doing so as a way of getting the school to reopen as it was closed down following the incident. This the said pointing fingers at them over insincere intentions.
One of the users wrote: “They ain’t remorseful. Still insisting on false press release. Where is the management’s conscience??? The candle night means nothing. Any sane parent shd never allow their children go to that evil den!”.
Another wrote: “This is not enough! Arrest the culprits. The parents should withdraw their kids. Shut the school down forever. Black T-shirts with messages and candles is not enough”.
Another reacted more too harshly saying:
“They ain’t remorseful still insisting false press release. Where is the management’s conscience???
The (candle) light means nothing. Any sane parent should never allow their children go to that evil den.”
“These ones just wants their children to resume school,” another wrote
What do you think? Do you think their intentions are sincere?
