A determined and hardworking Lady identified as Abby Adekugbe has finally graduated from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada after having to work for three (3) different companies to fund her university education.


Abby who funded her education by herself without any loans or financial support bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Unversity of Calgary, Canada.
While Celebrating her academic achievement on Linkedin, Dee Adekugbe, Abby’s mother described her academic success as unique in their family.

In her words; “My daughter Abby Adekugbe graduates University of Calgary after 4 years of education with NO student loans, NO parents loans or financial support. She worked 3 jobs, full time education and volunteering. SHE DID IT BY HERSELF, FOR HERSELF!!!!!! Please celebrate my baby girl,” she wrote on Linkedin.
She revealed that Abby’s achievement makes her the first in their family to graduate from university. “he first woman of the Adekugbe family to graduate,” she said.
Abby’s mother had a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, and her two brothers – Sam Adekugbe and Elijah Adekugbe are professional footballers for Canada.
