This is to inform the public especially candidates who purchased the Abia State University (ABSU) Post UTME Form for the 2023/2024 that the ABSU fourth batch Admission List.

ABSU Fourth Batch Admission List On School Notice Board 2023/2024

CHECK YOUR NAME AND TAKE NOTE OF YOUR PAGE NUMBER…

If know your JAMB CAPS didn’t change at all, don’t bother checking that Admission List published on the School Notice Board as no miracle would happen for your name to be there…

How to Check ABSU Admission List

At first, the ABSU Admission list could only be accessed via the school notice board, JAMB Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal.

Check Admission Status on ABSU Portal

Soon, the list will be made available on the ABSU Admission portal. When that happens, the procedure below will likely be used to check admission status:

1. Go to the ABSU Portal via portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng
2. Then enter your your Jamb Registration Number in the space provided
3. Click on the LOGIN to view your admission status

The list is not available on PDF whenever its available we will update this page.

Note: If you didn’t see your name on the list it doesn’t mean that you weren’t admitted, it probably that we could not get the list containing your name.

We advice you either visit the school or wait for the list to be released online. While waiting, once in a while check your name on either the JAMB Portal or the school portal.

Check ABSU Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!
