ABU Announces Available Spaces for 2025/2026 Admissions

ABU Zaria Notice on Upload of O’Level Results and Change of Programmes on JAMB Portal for 2025/2026 Admission Process.

Sequel to the release of the first list of the 2025/2026 admission, the University Management hereby invites candidates who secured the admission to accept the offer and print their JAMB admission letter via the JAMB portal/CAPS with immediate effect. It is observed that many candidates have been recommended for admission by their faculties but they have not uploaded their O’level results on the JAMB CAPS. Candidates are by this notice directed to immediately upload their O’level results to enable the University to complete the process for their admission.

In compliance with the 2025/2026 admission policy decision, the admission exercise will be closed on 31st October, 2025. Therefore, candidates not admitted into over-subscribed programmes, particularly Architecture, MBBS, Nursing Science, Doctor of Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Radiography, Dental Surgery, Civil Law, Shariah Islamic Law, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mass Communication and International Studies are advised to change to other relevant programmes with available spaces. The table below indicates the over-subscribed programmes and the programmes with available spaces:

vi. Staff, parents/guardians and others who presented admission requests but could not secure the initial programmes and were asked to change another programme are advised to effect the change before Friday, 24/10/2025, otherwise, the slots would be allocated to other candidates.
