AE-FUTHA College of Nursing Sciences Post Basic Nursing Admission Form 2026/2027 is Out. The form cost N25,200. The closing date is 21st September, 2026.

The management of the College of Nursing Sciences, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital (AE-FUTHA), Abakaliki, has announced the commencement of admission into its Nursing Council-approved Post Basic Nursing Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the institution, applications are currently ongoing for the following one-year programmes:

  • Accident and Emergency Nursing
  • Critical Care Nursing
  • Nephrology Nursing
  • Orthopedic Nursing

AE-FUTHA College of Nursing Sciences Post Basic Nursing Eligibility Requirements

Candidates applying for the programmes must:

  • Possess five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO or GCE in not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Be qualified nurses duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  • Possess a current practising licence.

Application Fee

The application fee is Twenty-Five Thousand, Two Hundred Naira (₦25,200).

How to Apply for AE-FUTHA College of Nursing Sciences Post Basic Nursing Admission

  • Visit the College official admission portal at http://cons-admission.aefutha.edu.ng to create an account and begin the application process.
  • After account creation, log in to the admission portal using the username and password created to generate Remita RRR and make payment.
  • After payment, candidates are to log in again to confirm payment and complete the application process.
  • Successful applicants are expected to print their examination slip containing details of the examination date, venue and other relevant information.
