Akwa Ibom Poly Notice on Stoppage Of The Use Of Point Of Sales (POS) Machines For Payment Of Fees

Management has observed with dismay, the ugly trend of perpetuation of illegality against established rules and regulations in the Institution by some Point of Sales (POS) operators, all in the guise of assisting students and graduands to make payment for stipulated fees. This development is totally unacceptable and frowned upon by Management, considering its attendant consequences.
Consequently, payment of fees for acceptance of admission, certificate, transcript, and school fees via POS is hereby STOPPED by Management with effect from Wednesday, 6th August, 2025. Students and graduands of the Institution are by this circular directed to make all payments at the designated Banks.
Henceforth, defaulters shall have themselves to blame as Management will not entertain any plea for ignorance as well as wrong-headedness.
Be properly guided.
