ATBUTH College of Nursing Science Flags Off NYSC Mobilization for Its First HND Graduates.


The College of Nursing Science (CONS), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) Bauchi, has successfully mobilized its pioneer Higher National Diploma (HND) students for participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme. The mobilization, conducted in collaboration with NYSC Bauchi, marks a historic milestone for the college.
The session was organized to properly orient the students on the processes, expectations, and responsibilities associated with national service, including documentation procedures, camp preparation, and adaptation to NYSC regulations.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Yusuf Bara Jibrin, congratulated the pioneer set for achieving this significant step and reaffirmed management’s commitment to advancing academic excellence and ensuring students benefit from national development opportunities.
The Provost of the College, Nurse Adamu Ahmed, also commended the students’ readiness and noted that their mobilization reflects the strength of the institution’s training and compliance with national standards.
The exercise was coordinated by Malam Aminu Sallau, Director Mobilization NYSC Bauchi State who spearheaded the orientation and provided detailed guidance to ensure a smooth and successful mobilization for the students.
