Bayero University Kano, BUK Notice on Closure of Hostels.
This is to inform all students residing in the university hostels that examinations for the 2024/2025 Academic Session will end on the 10th March, 2026.
Following a decision by the Deanery of Students, the hostel closure date has been extended by two weeks.
Accordingly, all students are expected to complete their activities and vacate the hostels by 24th March, 2026.
However, students participating in SIWES/Industrial Training, Teaching Practice, Student Work Experience Program or other academic components are advised to visit the Deanery of Students Affairs for reapplication and/or registration.
Affected students must obtain clearance letter from their respective Heads of Department before being considered for bed spaces.
