This is to inform the public especially new and returning students of Bayero University Kano, (BUK) that the school management has released the updated school fees for 2025/2026 academic session. The fees for foreign students have also been released.

A. Acceptance Fees (Paid by all New Students before screening)

  • Geology students are to pay additional N50,000 in the Department for Practical/Field trips.
  • Pharmaceutical Science Students are to pay additional N10,000 in the Faculty for induction, laboratory manuals and Consumables
  • Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry Students are to pay N1,500 for Laboratory Manual and Report Book at the Department.
  • Life Science (L100) students are to pay additional N3,000 for laboratory manuals at the Faculty
  • Microbiology (L200) students are to pay additional N1,500 for laboratory manuals at the Department
  • Clinical Science: All Medical graduated who apply for Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification and report are to pay service charge of N60,000.
  • Adult Education Students are to pay additional N1,000 for Vocational Training fee at the Department
  • Geography and Education/Geography (L300) students are to pay additional N2,000 in the Department for Field Trip
  • Clinical Science and Dentistry students are to pay additional N40,000 to their Faculties and N20,000 to the College
  • Allied Health Sciences students are to pay additional N25,000 to the Faculty and N15,000 to the College
  • Agriculture students are to pay additional N2,000 in the Faculty for Agric inputs.
  • Veterinary Medicine students are to pay additional N10,000 for Practical’s Manual, Consumables and Animal Identification/Handling Exercise and N20,000 Naira for field trip/excursion fees to be paid by all students in the Faculty
  • Law students are to pay N2,000 for Law Clinic/Moot Trails at the Faculty
  • Biochemistry and Nutrition and Dietetics students are to pay N5,000, while Anatomy and Human Physiology are to pay ₩10,000 Naira Only as Peculiar charges at the Faculty
  • Computing students are to pay additional N2,500 Naira for Laboratory Manual and N1,700 Naira for log books to be paid by all students at the Faculty.
  • All SIWES Students are to pay N500 for Logbook to the Directorate of Academic Planning.
  • D. HOSTEL AND HOSTEL MAINTAINCE CHARGES (To be paid by Students allocated bed spaces in University Halls of Residence)… N37,590, N80,090 and N150,090 for M Block as the case maybe.
