The Council Of Legal Education (CLE) has approved the accreditation of Caleb University’s Law programme, as well as increased its admission quota from 50 to 110, with immediate effect; from the (current) 2024/2025 academic session.


The news was communicated in a letter signed by Ms. A. O. Osho, the Secretary to Council and Director of Administration, based on the outcome of the CLE Accreditation Panel to the Caleb University College of Law, City Campus, Magodo, between 10th and 11th October, 2024.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie, was ecstatic, describing the development as “momentous, a thing of great joy to us, considering that we have in place young legal geniuses, eminent scholars and Senior Advocates of Nigeria who are actively contributing, along with the leading lights in the Lagos State Judiciary, to the rapid growth of our Law programme to become the first choice in legal education nationally.
According to the Council, “in view of the consistent investments In improving the Caleb University’s compliance with admission quota over the years, the Council has approved the University’s Law quota from 50 to 110”.the increase in Caleb University’s Law admission quota, is an acknowledgement of the Institution’s commitment and discipline in providing high-quality legal education, a veritable platform for learners, as wel as opportunities for aspiring students to pursue their ambition.
