The Management of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced a temporary restriction on the use of vehicles by students within the University campus and a ban on the entry of tinted vehicles as part of measures to strengthen campus security.

The directive, which takes immediate effect, was communicated through a memorandum signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu.
According to the University, the decision was informed by the prevailing security situation and the need to enhance surveillance and improve the monitoring of persons and vehicles entering and leaving the campus.
The ban on tinted vehicles applies to all categories of persons, including staff, contractors, site workers, and visitors.
Students have been urged to comply fully with the directive and cooperate with the University’s security personnel.
Management warned that any violation of the temporary measures would be treated as a breach of the University’s regulations and could attract appropriate disciplinary action.
While acknowledging the inconvenience the restrictions may cause, the University assured members of the community that the measures are temporary and will be reviewed as soon as the security situation permits.
Management also appealed for patience, understanding, and continued cooperation in maintaining a safe and secure campus environment.
