This is to inform all fresh and old students of Dennis Osadebay University that the school management has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The full academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session has been provided on the school’s noticeboard, students are to visit and get a copy.

First Semester
- Monday, 7th October 2024: Online payment of school and accommodation fees starts for returning students.
- Sunday, 20th October 2024: Fresh and returning students resume on campus.
- Monday, 21st October 2024: Screening and medicals for fresh students begin.
- Monday, 21st October 2024: Course registration begins for returning students.
- Monday, 28th October 2024: Fresh students start course registration.
- Monday, 4th November 2024: Lectures begin for all students.
- Tuesday, 12th November – Thursday, 14th November 2024: Orientation programme for fresh students.
- Friday, 15th November 2024: Matriculation ceremony for fresh students.
- Friday, 20th December 2024: Registration closes for all students.
- Friday, 20th December 2024 – Friday, 5th January 2025: Christmas and New Year break.
- Monday, 6th January – Friday, 10th January 2025: Late registration with penalty fees.
- Friday, 10th January 2025: Last day to add or drop courses, and deadline for temporary withdrawal or deferment.
- Friday, 7th February 2025: Lectures end.
- Monday, 10th February – Friday, 14th February 2025: Revision week.
- Monday, 17th February 2025: First semester examinations begin.
- Friday, 28th February 2025: First semester examinations end.
- Monday, 3rd March – Sunday, 16th March 2025: First semester break.
- Monday, 3rd March – Monday, 24th March 2025: Marking of examination scripts and release of first semester results.
Second Semester
- Sunday, 16th March 2025: Students resume for the second semester.
- Monday, 17th March 2025: Lectures begin for the second semester.
- Tuesday, 15th April – Friday, 18th April 2025: BCOS meeting.
- Wednesday, 30th April 2025: Senate meeting.
- Friday, 27th June 2025: Lectures end.
- Monday, 30th June – Friday, 4th July 2025: Revision week.
- Monday, 7th July 2025: Second semester examinations begin.
- Friday, 18th July 2025: Second semester examinations end.
- Wednesday, 23rd July 2025: Second semester break begins.
- Friday, 18th July – Friday, 1st August 2025: Marking of examination scripts.
- Monday, 4th August – Friday, 15th August 2025: Departments and Faculties consider results.
- Wednesday, 20th August – Friday, 22nd August 2025: BCOS considers results.
- Wednesday, 27th August 2025: Senate considers results.
- Friday, 5th September 2025: Release of second semester results.
