Cynthia Chidinma Sumah, a Nigerian woman, fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor by earning an MBBS from Newcastle University, reflecting on her personal growth, gratitude, and future aspirations in pediatrics, obstetrics, aesthetics, and medical education.

Cynthia Chidinma Sumah, a determined Nigerian woman, has accomplished her lifelong dream of becoming a medical doctor.

Chidinma earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. Sharing her joy on LinkedIn, she expressed that achieving this milestone is the realization of her childhood dreams and an answer to her prayers.

“Anyone who knows me is aware that becoming a doctor has always been my goal. I am living my childhood dream and answered prayers,” she wrote.

Reflecting on her name, which means “God is good,” Chidinma noted that her life exemplifies that message.

She also highlighted her academic journey, explaining how the past five years were not only filled with medical knowledge but also contributed to her personal growth and led to lifelong friendships, for which she feels profoundly grateful.

Looking ahead, Chidinma is excited to advance her career, with particular interests in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, aesthetics, and medical education.
