Ekiti State University, EKSU is yet to commence pharmacy programme

The attention of the Management of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti has been drawn to an online advertisement for the commencement of admission exercise into various programmes in its Faculty of Pharmacy for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti wishes to dissociate itself from the online advertisement as it did not emanate from the university.
As a matter of fact, the university is in the process of commencing Pharmacy programme which led to the visit of a team from the National Universities Commission, Abuja for resource verification. The result of the Commission’s visit is still being awaited by the university. As such, advertising a programme that has not been approved by the National Universities Commission is illegal and Ekiti State University will not in any way be involved in any illegality.
Parents, guardians and candidates are advised to be cautious of such doubtful, spurious and unsubstantiated advertisements which is obviously the handwork of scammers. It is to be emphasized that the university has its own medium of advertising for academic programmes.
The advertisement should be disregarded please.
