The attention of the Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has been drawn to fake Facebook and bank accounts operated by scammers for the sale of Postgraduate application forms using the following bank details:
- Account name: Bursary Administrative Accounts
- Account No: 4513529294
- Bank Name: Kayi Micro Finance Bank
Please, be aware that the School of Postgraduate Studies has NOT commenced the sale of application forms for any of its programmes to and it has NOT authorised any person, company or group to collect money on its behalf.
The University has its procedure for announcing the sale of application forms, admissions, fees payments, and other activities.
Therefore, the University calls on members of the public to be cautious of the activities of fraudsters who may attempt to defraud unsuspecting individuals.
Report any suspicious activities to the security agencies. On its part, the University is working with security agencies to identify and apprehend those involved in these illegal practices.
