The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), at its 22nd Regular Meeting, approved the introduction of first degree programme in Law (LLB) and first degree programme in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in the University.


The meeting of the Governing Council took place at the University in Lafia on March 19 and 20, 2025.
According to a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, submission has been made to the National University Commission (NUC) requesting the body to visit FULafia for resource verification of the two programmes.
It’s expected that academic activities in the two programmes would commence during the 2025/2026 academic session.
