The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of deans for the faculties of arts, computing, basic medical sciences and basic clinical sciences.


According to a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the new Dean of the Faculty of Arts is Dr Adam Al-Amin Abdullahi while the Dean of the Faculty of Computing is Dr Jeffrey Ovey Agushaka.
Dr Ahmed Muhammad Rabi’u is the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, said the statement which added that Dr Mary Mathew is now the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
All the new deans, the statement said, would hold office for a period of one year with effect from October 15, 2024.
Also, said the statement, the vice-chancellor has approved the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Ogiri as the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit.
