FUNAAB Announces Guidelines for Inter-University Transfer Applications 2026/2027 academic session. The form cost N50,000.


The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the commencement of applications for Inter-University Transfer for eligible students seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
According to a memo issued by the Senior Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, the application process would commence on Monday, July 13, 2026, with a non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000, inclusive of REMITA charges.
The memo further stated that applicants must currently be registered students of a recognised university in Nigeria and must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
In addition, prospective transfer candidates must possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale for Agricultural programmes or 3.50 for Engineering and Science programmes as at the second semester of the current academic session. Applicants are also required to ensure that their official academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Interested candidates are further advised to follow these steps:
- Visit admission.funaab.edu.ng.
- Carefully read the instructions on Inter-University Transfer.
- Log in with their JAMB registration number as contained in their admission letter.
- Complete and print the online form.
- Submit the completed form at the Senate and Admissions Unit.
Interested candidates can obtain the Inter-University Transfer Form through the FUNAAB admissions portal at admission.funaab.edu.ng. after carefully reviewing the instructions, applicants can log in using the JAMB registration number from their Admission Letters. Once completed, the form must be printed and submitted to the Senate and Admissions Unit for further processing.
The University advised prospective applicants to ensure they meet all the stipulated requirements before submitting their applications.
