Fountain University, Osogbo, is pleased to announce that its Accounting program has been granted full re-accreditation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) until 2028.


The re-accreditation was communicated to the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, in a letter signed by ICAN’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Lanre Olasunkanmi, Ph.D., FCA. This achievement alludes to the university’s accounting program’s excellence and dedication to producing highly skilled accounting professionals.
“We are thrilled to receive this re-accreditation from ICAN, and we appreciate the recognition of our accounting programme’s quality. This achievement is a reflection of our university’s commitment to providing excellent education in accounting. We look forward to continued collaboration with ICAN to produce highly skilled accounting professionals,” said Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, Vice Chancellor of Fountain University.
She further called on the general public, especially students who wrote the recently concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to consider Fountain University as their choice institution to pursue their ambition in the accounting field.
Fountain University’s Accounting program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to succeed in the accounting profession. This recognition underscores the university’s commitment to delivering high-quality accounting education that meets the standards set by ICAN.
