The attention of the Management of Gombe State Ministry of Education has been drawn to a piece that is going viral on the closure of public schools in the state.

For clarity purpose, the piece is not from the Ministry as currently students are writing their end of term examinations in all public schools across the state.

Therefore, parents and guardians and general public are advised to disregard any prior statement credited to the state government in this regard.

As usual the students will proceed for their holidays after the completion of examinations.

The Ministry regrets all inconveniences caused as a result of the fake News alert.
