Kaduna State Scholarship Board Issues Important Notice To All Students of Kaduna Origin.

This is to notify the general public that, the continued appraisal of the Local Scholarship applications is still on-going. The Essay Scoring of the new applications will be done next week. Applicants are advised to be checking their dashboard for further directives. When uploading tax clearance certificates (TCC), please upload only the tax clearance certificate from Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) (Not Tax Registration Number or Joint Tax Board Certificate). We have noticed an increasing upload of forged documents. Please note, if this is detected the applicant will be Blacklisted for 5 years.

There were complaints that the award of scholarships is only focused on Kaduna State- Owned Tertiary institutions. Please be assured that the Local Scholarship is for all Kaduna state students across all government-owned Tertiary Institutions all over the country. The Board is working assidiously to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Institutions across the country to enable the Board make bulk payment to the institutions for eventual payment of total tuition fees till graduation for every successful student. This has been achieved with Kaduna State University (KASU), Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria ( NBPZ) and College of Education, Gidan Waya. Arrangements are in progress with Federal College of Education Zaria (FCE), Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Bayero University Kano (BUK) and Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY).

There are a lot of applications that are currently at the University reviewers level. Please note that the Board cannot be held responsible for any delayed processing from the School reviewers. School reviewers are staff of the various schools.

The Board hereby encouraged all qualified students to apply for the scholarship and diligently follow the process.
