This is to inform the general public that the Ken Saro-Wira Polytechnic (KenPoly) has released the proposed 2023/2024 Academic Calendar.

KENPOLY resumes for the 2023/2024 session on Monday, December 4, 2023.

FIRST SEMESTER

• Monday, November 27, 2023 – Commencement of 2023/2024 Academic Session/Registration
• Monday, December 4, 2023 – Commencement of First Semester Lectures for 2023/2024 Academic Session
• Friday, February 2, 2024 – End of Registration.
• Thursday, February 8, 2024 – Orientation for Fresh Students
• Wednesday, February 14, 2024 – Matriculation for Fresh Students
• Friday, March 15, 2024 – End of First Semester Lectures
• Monday, March 18, 2024 – Commencement of First Semester Examinations
• Friday, April 5, 2024 – End of First Semester Examinations
• Monday, April 8, 2024 – Commencement of First Semester Break
• Friday, April 19, 2024 – Deadline for Submission of First Semester Scores Sheets by Respective Lecturers

SECOND SEMESTER

• Monday, April 22, 2024 – Commencement of Second Lectures for 2023/2024 Academic Session
• Thursday, May 23, 2024 – Consideration of First Semester Results for 2023/2024 Academic Session by the Academic Board
• Wednesday, June 26-Friday, June 28, 2024 – Students Week
• Friday, July 12, 2024 – End of Second Semester Lectures
• Monday, July 15, 2024 – Commencement of Second Semester Examinations
• Friday, August 2, 2024 – End of Second Semester Examinations
• Monday, August 5, 2024 – Commencement of Second Semester Vacation
• Friday, August 16, 2024 – Deadline for Submission of Second Semester Scores Sheets by Respective Lecturers
• Thursday, September 19, 2024 – Consideration of Second Semester Results for 2023/2024 Academic Session by the Academic Board
• Monday, October 28, 2024 – Commencement of 2024/2025 Academic Session
