LASU Online Clearance for 2024/2025 [UPDATED]

Admitted candidates into Lagos State University in the 2024/2025 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the use of LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).

Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, shall be assigned matriculation numbers while unsuccessful candidates shall be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admissions. 

The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; and as such all the participating and admitted candidates in the 2024/2025 academic session are to pay for the required Clearance Fee through the LASU e-payment portal. 

Candidates are required to have made payment for acceptance, medical, clearance, and tuition fees before commencing the online clearance.

LATEST UPDATE : COMPLETION OF LACACA OPERATIONS BY NEWLY ADMITTED FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM has approved the completion of the LASU Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) operations for all newly admitted full-time undergraduate students of the 2024/2025 academic session. This decision comes in light of the forthcoming matriculation ceremony slated for Tuesday, 18th February 2025, and heightens the need for timely completion of all necessary procedures.

All newly admitted full-time undergraduate students are reminded that the LACACA operations typically span for a month and have since commenced on Friday, 27th September 2024. However, the university management has magnanimously extended the deadline for the LACACA operations beyond one month. The new deadline for all admitted students to complete their LACACA operations is now set for Friday, 31st January 2025.

All newly admitted full-time undergraduate students are to NOTE that those who have successfully completed their LACACA operations have been allocated matriculation numbers and enabled for the payment of all necessary fees. In addition, they will be eligible for registration at the Health Centre and the collection of the GNS Compendium.

Any admitted student who fails to commence their LACACA operations by the stipulated deadline will face serious consequences, including the automatic forfeiture of their provisional admission.

The University Management, therefore, urges all concerned students to complete their LACACA operations as soon as possible to ensure their continued enrollment and participation in the upcoming academic activities.

Please note that the stipulated deadline is final and will not be extended. Prompt action is, therefore, encouraged to avoid any disruptions to academic progression.

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF (LACACA) CLEARANCE FEES

• IVisit lasu.edu.ng/consult
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the field labeled “Matriculation Number/Application Number.”
• Provide a valid email address and phone number.
• Click Continue.

STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION

• Visit the LASU Website – https://www.lasu.edu.ng
• Hover over the STUDENT tab and click on UG LACACA.
• Enter your UTME registration number and surname, then click Submit.

Candidates are expected to complete the process by supplying the following information on their dashboard:

• (a) Validate your basic bio-data details.
• (b) Verify your disability status.
• (c) Upload O’Level scratch card details.
• (d) Upload your original birth certificate.
• (e) Upload your original UTME results.
• (f) Upload your original JAMB admission letter.
• (g) Upload your scanned signature.
• (h) Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box, then click Submit.
• iv. At this stage, the admission clearance progresses to 20%, and the documents will be submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated university officials.
• v. Candidates should check the progress of their admission clearance, as necessary attention may be required based on the uploaded documents.
• vi. Candidates with errors requiring correction will need to pay for such corrections on the LASU payment portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment.
• vii. Upon reaching 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2024/2025 academic session and will be assigned a matriculation number.

Note: The online clearance has already Commenced and closed Friday, 31st January 2025.

Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reasons for rejection. Some may need to visit the Admission Office on the 3rd Floor of the Senate Building, LASU main campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
