The Management of Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) acknowledges the concerns raised by students and parents regarding the recent fee increment and strongly warns against the use of abusive language or inciting statements in expressing such concerns.

The attention of the Management of the University has been drawn to reactions following the recent adjustment of fees, which was necessitated by prevailing economic realities and the financial challenges being faced by institutions.
It is important to note that, this measure is not peculiar to our University, as similar adjustments have been implemented by other universities in varying forms.
Management acknowledges the concerns expressed by students and affirms that students have the right to express their opinions and air their grievances.
However, such expressions must be carried out responsibly, respectfully, and within the confines of the law and the University’s regulations.
The University Management will not tolerate the use of abusive language, inciting statements, or any form of communication online or otherwise, that targets principal officers, individuals or the institution in a manner capable of disrupting peace or exposing members of the University community to avoidable consequences, including arrests.
While peaceful and lawful engagement remains acceptable, any protest or action must strictly comply with the University’s established policies and the relevant laws of the land.
Any individual or group found acting contrary to these provisions will be appropriately sanctioned.
Management remains committed to dialogue and urges students to adopt constructive channels of communication in addressing their concerns, in the collective interest of maintaining peace, order, and academic stability within the University.
Please, be guided.
