This is Deola a 300-level female student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who has taken up carpentry as the ASUU continues to linger.

While some female students are using the 6-month ASUU Strike to sell their bodies, Deola has taken a more respectable and honorable path.
Amaka Okoye a Nigerian Journalist, sharing a video of Deola learning her new skill on TikTok, revealed that the is learning her skill in Yaba, Lagos State.
“Deola is a 300 level student at @the.unilag.hub but she is interning now as a carpenter at Wooddesigns in Yaba, Lagos, putting her time into good use and learning a great skill as the ASUU strike continues. I am rooting for her. Send her some love too,” she wrote on TikTok.
In the short clip on TikTok, Deola was seen handling wood and doing other things inside a carpentry workshop.
She looked cheerful and obviously enjoyed the newfound job as she meticulously did it in the video.
