The Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, has announced the approval/accreditation of thirty-three Programmes in the institution by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).


The NBTE, in a letter addressed to the institution’s Rector, signed by the Director of Polytechnic Programmes Department, Dr. Mrs. Fatima Kabir Umar on behalf of the Executive Secretary, dated 8th April, 2025, disclosed that the approved programmes will commence academic sessions from 2025/2026 academic year.
The Polytechnic believes that the historic milestone achieved will significantly broaden its horizon for technical education advancement, professional development and expand its global competitiveness and presence.
This development is a key testament to the institution’s steadfast commitment in enhancing science and engineering skills in the technical education landscape of the nation.
IMAP is poised to become one of the nation’s five most competitive polytechnics through professional expertise, collaboration and determined contribution to national and international communities.
