About Nile University
Nile University of Nigeria is a Private University located in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
The University was established in 2009 to provide high quality tertiary education for the country’s ever-increasing number of secondary school leavers.
At the time of institution, the university had three faculties (Arts & Social Sciences, Engineering, and Natural & Applied Sciences) and 93 students. As the University grew and thrived over the following years, the need to provide its high quality instruction at a higher level became increasingly apparent.
Today Nile University has over 3600 students (undergraduate and postgraduate), 26 undergraduate programs across six faculties, and 36 postgraduate programs across five faculties.
LATEST UPDATE: It has come to the knowledge of Nile University of Nigeria that some unscrupulous individuals fronting for a private university in Abuja, FCT have resorted to fraudulent misinformation to the general public that their university is affiliated or an extension of Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, in order to seduce unsuspecting persons looking for admission into the prestigious Nile University of Nigeria.
For the avoidance of doubt, Nile University, for now, does not have any relationship whatsoever with the said university and these former Nile University staff are only deliberately trying to confuse the unsuspecting public to promote their admission strategy. The general public is, therefore, advised to treat such insinuations as fake news that does not emanate from Nile University and should, thus, be disregarded.
Additionally, please be informed that Nile University of Nigeria does not have authorised representatives charged with the responsibility of giving admission letters or collecting fees outside of the Authorised University portal. Prospects who engage with such individuals do so at their own risk.
