Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (Formerly Ondo State University of Science and Technology) OAUSTECH has warned Students’ Against indecent Dressing Within the Campus.
It has been observed and noticed that some of our students still failed to follow the University approved modes of dressing strictly both within and outside campus.
Cleanliness, neatness, modesty and decency in dressing are important values which reflect individual dignity and sobriety through which Students represent the professional status of their disciplines.
Indecent modes of dressing do not reflect the seriousness, dignity and character molding nature of academic enterprise.
The dressing and appearance of a person or a group of people determines the kind of respect they would earn from others.
It is in line with this that our Students are expected to dress in a manner that represent the University in a positive way.
In view of the above, as from tomorrow, if any Student caught on campus flouting any of the University approved mode of dressing, he/she will face the music and will be severely sanctioned according to the laws stipulated in the students’ handbooks.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
