Sokoto State University, SSU 9th Matriculation Ceremony Scheduled For 2022/2023 Academic Session has been Released.

The newly admitted students of Sokoto State Univerisity for the 2022/2023 Academic Session will be matriculating at the 9th Matriculation Ceremony which has been scheduled as follows;

This prestigious event signifies the beginning of a new academic journey for all matriculating students. The ceremony provides an opportunity for students to celebrate their admission into the university and to pledge their commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.

All matriculating students are expected to be seated at the venue by 9:30 am, dressed in their academic gowns. Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are also welcome to attend the ceremony and share in the joy of their wards’ achievements.

SSU: Academic Gowns and Oath Forms Collection for 9th Matriculation Ceremony

Sokoto State University (SSU) announces the collection of academic gowns and oath forms for its 9th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2022/2023 academic session. All newly admitted undergraduate students are required to follow the outlined procedures to ensure their successful participation in the ceremony.

Academic Gowns and Oath Forms Collection Details:

Starting from Monday, 7th May 2023 at 10:00 am, all newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2022/2023 academic session can collect their academic gowns and oath forms from their respective Faculty Officers.

Payment Instructions:

Students must make a payment of N2,000 (two thousand naira) only into the University’s account number 3052058398 with Eco Bank. Evidence of payment must be presented at the point of collection of the academic gown.

Rehearsal and Matriculation Ceremony Schedule:

All matriculating students must wear the prescribed academic gowns for both the rehearsal and the matriculation ceremony. The rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday, 9th May 2023, at 4:00 pm, while the matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 10th May 2023, at 10:00 am. Both events will take place at the University’s convocation ground.

The Vice-Chancellor has directed that all Deans of Faculty and their respective Heads of Department ensure the punctual attendance of all matriculating students at the rehearsal and matriculation ceremony.

Returning Academic Gowns and Oath Forms:

Kindly note that academic gowns and oath forms must be returned to the respective Faculty Officers no later than Thursday, 11th May 2023. There will be a penalty for any damage done to the gowns collected.
